new koa canoes in the rough form! These photos will be updated as

first block of photos are of the beginnings of our new canoe, the Honomalino.
It is much further along then these photos suggest and is now over in
Hilo with Ray and Doug Bumatay being worked on. I will be offering more
photos as they come in! The koa log was taken off the slopes of Mauna
Loa in South Kona in 1999. |
